Small Structures

Small Structure Demolition Services in Austin

Small structure demolition tends to be a quicker project, usually taking just one or two days to complete the job and clean up the site. Since these structures are constructed simply, we’re often able to take them down with hand and power tools. We consider the job complete when the structure has been taken down and hauled away, loose debris has been bagged, and the site has been given our signature thorough clean. Occasionally, some small structures have been insulated, and that insulation will need to be bagged as well.

We strive to complete all of our jobs on time and for a fair price. The structure’s accessibility or foundation may affect the estimate we create. Pricing is always project-specific. Our quotes take many factors into account and represent our best offer, but we’re always willing to work with you to address any budget constraints.

At Austin Cleanup and Container, we like to keep a light footprint. Rather than knocking the structure down, we take it apart in pieces. This creates less damage to the site and helps us to preserve features or materials you might like to keep, such as doors and siding. With smaller structures, like gazebos and above ground pools, we may also have the option of simply disassembling it. On occasion, we’ll find structures that require heavy machinery or additional damage that needs repair. You can be sure that we’ll keep you updated on the status of your project every step of the way.

Ready to Get Started?

Our process is pretty simple, and it all starts with a phone call. We’ll talk with you about how we can help you and offer a ballpark estimate, when possible for the project. If that sounds good to you, we’ll schedule a site visit.

During the site visit, our manager will walk through the site with you, taking measurements and photographs that will help us create an estimate. We’ll also discuss the project with you. Our formal bid will be issued within 24 hours. If there are any outstanding issues that require clarification, such as an engineering assessment, we’ll help you to resolve it. Most small structure demolition doesn’t require a permit, but we will help you secure one if need be.

After you accept the bid, we’ll create a schedule, including the projected start and end dates. From there, we’ll send you our insurance forms and W9s, determine the access we’ll need, discuss working hour restrictions, prepare the site, shut off and cap your utilities, clean up any unwanted furnishings, and identify the things you’ll want to recover before getting started with the demolition.

During the demolition process, we’ll stage the container onsite, as well as any equipment and supplies we’ll need. The structure will be brought down in pieces. The site will be kept free of debris throughout, with loose material bagged and hauled away. Once we’re done, we’ll give the site a thorough clean.

You’ll get to sign off on the project, as well as accompany us on the final walkthrough.
